If you do have children, one of the more popular Christmas craft ideas is the candy calendar. This is an alternative to the traditional Advent calendar. This is very simple to make. You need 24 pieces of wrapped candy, a wide red ribbon, some trimming lace and some thin tartan ribbon to hold the sweets in place. Edge the wide ribbon with the white lace and add a large tartan and gold bow to the top. Attach the sweets individually using the thin tartan ribbon to hold each sweet in place. The idea is that starting on 1 December the children can eat one piece of candy every day until Christmas Eve. This is bound to go down the trees in any family with young children.
Christmas Centerpiece Almost always dining room is the centerpiece for the whole holiday. Thats why you have to think how to decorate it beforehand. Decorate your dinner table with Christmas tablecloths. Fill your room with red and white colors. Add small silver and crystal things. Make your room shine and sparkle.
Firstly, you will need some preparation work to be carried out; this includes having a general tidy up around the house and clearing any unnecessary clutter. Usually Christmas decorations get left till the last minute and early preparation will help you stay on top of the rush. Think of it like an early spring clean, you will feel all the better and be able to see and appreciate the decorations in your home without the worry they are just covering up an already cluttered house. Making that extra effort will be worth it.
