-With both girls and boys decor, there are lots of bedroom decorating ideas that make great Christmas presents and the most useful may well be great looking toy boxes and cubbies to store all of the other things they get for Christmas. There are lots of great looking collapsible toy boxes with sports themes or flowers and butterflies that will hold a lot of toys and even padded seats that are soft to sit on but also provides you with lots of usable storage as well.
Carving out a peaceful getaway in your bedroom will help you connect with the Christmas spirit and escape from the hustle and bustle of the season. Author Fran loves sharing her thoughts on home decorating around Christmas. Her biggest suggestion is to look at the floor first and consider red area rugs and oval area rugs.
The bed is considered the main focal point because it is usually the largest piece in the room. We can easily purchase a Christmas themed duvet cover or comforter set but it can look pretty tacky and not romantic at all. Choose solid colors instead. Gold, red, green and white are the perfect choices. All four colors can be used together to create the perfect scenery. For example, if you choose a green duvet or comforter set for your bed than throw in 4 or 5 small solid color pillows with the other colors mentioned previously or mix up solid colors with small Christmas themed pillows. Wrap red ribbons onto the solid color pillows as if they were Christmas Gifts. Decorative ribbons can also be used to tie back window curtains. You can also align your window frames with swags of garlands.
